Q: What coating is used for refinishing.

A:  The coating we use for resurfacing is product of  Worldwide refinishing system ,coating supplied to only accredited refinishers after comprehensive training and it is a modified two component product  a proprietary coating specialized for bathroom refinishing and bathtub resurfacing manufactured in USA 

Q: How long will take to resurface a bath?

A: In general terms and in situ bath can be resurfaced in 5 hours followed by a 24 hours period of non use .In cold weather the drying and  non use period need to be adjusted accordingly as cure can take longer time when temperatures in bathroom falls overnight below 20 Celsius.

Q: Is the coating same as the original new finish of the enameled bath or porcelain ?

A: It is a very durable gloss finish coating with resistance to water and chemicals with properties close to the original finish as they can be, but it is not   a  enameled  product from kiln or porcelain finishes which are  smelted in kiln.

The coating product is designed  and  manufactured  specially for use on bathtub and tiles by Worldwide refinishing ,system which is not only one of the best but a coating system  which when apply according to  guidelines for application ,you will be hard press  to find any coating system  of the same quality and durability on the market .Comes to quality  of the product on it's own ,there is no substitute for WRS product quality backed up with professional accredited service.

Provided you take reasonable  care of your bath surface and do not use any abrasive cleaners  it will  have a usable life between 15-20 years .

Q: What cleaning product is suitable ?

A: First week use only clean water for cleaning ,otherwise a liquid detergent can be use afterwards but please make sure it does not contains any abrasive particles or acid base cleaner. 

Q :What about chipped bathtub ,can you repair the bath with out full resurfacing?

A: Yes we do repair chipped bathtubs but only if the repair is economical  and suitable for repair.

The chip must be in the spot where this type of repair is possible .Bath  chipped surface repair  is  time consuming and  sometimes impossible to   achieve perfect  match .

 The chipped  repair in close look, could  be always visible due to difference in shade of original finishes and  coating ,however the repair is done as closest match to finish and it is almost invisible .The repair is not a process of permanent solution  ,however  when you considering a chipped repair for your bathtub    you can rest assure that we will give you the most economical advice for your repair with options of full resurfacing.
